Former selector Rahul Dravid said that he did not say anything wrong to Wriddhiman Saha
Wriddhiman Saha made a big disclosure in a big statement that India head coach Rahul Dravid asked him to consider retirement saying that he will no longer be considered for Test cricket.
Former North Zone selector and cricketer Sarandeep Singh said :-
Former North Zone selector and cricketer Sarandeep Singh feels that Saha took that point with Dravid the wrong way. Sarandeep has backed India’s men’s head coach Rahul Dravid’s comments.
“I don’t think Dravid said anything wrong . This is the time when Saha should think for himself that he is 37 years old. He will not be selected for the playing XI . So why would he want to be selected in the team just to sit down? Sarandeep Singh told ANI that “we have a young wicketkeeper on the bench”.
Sarandeep Singh said “Pant is the first priority of the team” :-
“Pant is the first priority of the team and he will play for a long time,” he added. Wriddhiman Saha on Tuesday refused to reveal the name of the journalist who threatened the Indian wicketkeeper-batsman after he was dropped from the team against Sri Lanka. ,
When Saha was dropped from the Test squad for Sri Lanka on Saturday, the batsman shared on Twitter how a “respected journalist” approached him for an interview and how the messages soon became threatening.
Saha did not reveal the name of the journalist. On Saha not disclosing the journalist, Sarandeep said, “Saha should speak clearly on this and also name the journalist. Only Saha can tell whom he is protecting.”

The former cricketer also made a big disclosure about Hardik Pandya not being selected in the Indian team. As he said: “There has to be a protocol if you do well in Ranji then only you can be selected for the international team.”
