Aakash Chopra cheated of Rs 33 lakh in the name of investment

According to this case report, Dhruv took Rs 57.8 lakh from Akash Chopra to invest in the business. It was decided that this money would be returned to Akash within 30 days. Less than 50 percent would be returned even after a year. Only the money was returned to him.

After a year, Rs 24.5 lakh was returned

In his complaint lodged with the police, Chopra said, “We had made a formal agreement, which stipulated that Dhruv had to return the money within 30 days with 20% profit, and post-dated checks were given for recovery. However, after a year, only Rs 24.5 lakh has been returned. And two checks issued bounced.”

Father and son broke all contact with Chopra

Chopra had spoken to the main accused in the case—Kamlesh—who said he would pay the dues on behalf of his son. But when they did not receive the money they issued legal notices. The father and son broke all contact with Chopra, causing a loss of Rs 33.3 lakh.

SHO of Hariparvat police station, Agra, Arvind Kumar said, the documents and evidence provided by the complainant are being examined. Further action will be taken after the investigation. The accused will also be called.

Kamlesh Parikh has already been accused of fraud

This is not the first incident in which Parikh has been caught cheating cricketers. In February, cricketer Deepak Chahar’s father filed a complaint of fraud against both of them.

Jaya Bhardwaj was also accused of cheating

Indian fast bowler’s wife Jaya Bhardwaj had alleged that the duo defrauded her of Rs 10 lakh in the guise of a business venture, following which a complaint was lodged and a case was registered against them.

According to the complaint lodged on February 02, the accused, who has a shoe shop in Agra, had abused and threatened Chahar’s family when they demanded the money back.
