GT vs LSG IPL 2022: Lucknow team piled on 82 runs, Gujarat win the match by 62 runs in the play-off

New Delhi, Online Desk. GT vs LSG IPL 2022: Lucknow Super Giants faced Gujarat Titans in the 57th league match of IPL 2022 at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. Gujarat captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and elected to bat. Shubman Gill scored 144 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs on the basis of his unbeaten half-century. In reply, the entire Lucknow team bundled out for just 82 runs in 13.5 overs.

Shameful defeat of Lucknow

Captain KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock opened the innings for Lucknow chasing the target of 145 runs from Gujarat. Yash Dayal got the team’s first success by getting Dikak caught by Sai Kishore on the score of 11 runs. Experienced Mohammed Shami got captain Rahul. caught behind the wicket at the hands of Saha for 8 runs. Yash forced Karan Sharma to go back by getting caught by David Miller at the score of 4 runs.
