Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja’s wife Rivaba has been nominated by the Bharatiya Janata Party and Jadeja is busy campaigning for his wife. Jadeja said on Monday that his wife Rivaba Jadeja wants to follow the path of Prime Minister Narendra and work for the public. Rivba has been fielded from Jamnagar North seat in the Bharatiya Janata Party assembly elections. Ravindra Jadeja said in a program on Monday that Rivaba will learn a lot from her candidature for the first time in the assembly elections.

She said, “She is for the first time as an MLA candidate and she will learn a lot. I hope she moves ahead in this. She loves helping people and always wants to help people. That’s why she has joined politics.” She wants to follow PM Modi to work for the people.”

Earlier on Sunday, Ravindra Jadeja appealed to the people of Jamnagar to vote for his wife Rivaba Jadeja. Ravindra Jadeja tweeted a video urging the people of Jamnagar and cricket fans to vote for his wife. In this video she said speaking in Gujarati “Gujarat election is here and it’s like a T20 match. My wife is making her debut in politics on BJP ticket! Tomorrow she will file her nomination. I want to meet the people of Jamnagar and the people of Jamnagar. I appeal to all cricket lovers to come and support them in a big way.”

Rivaba has been made the BJP’s face for the Jamnagar (North) seat in place of sitting MLA Dharmendra Singh Jadeja. The BJP is in power in Gujarat for the last 27 years and is considered a stronghold of the BJP. There are also a large number of leaders from Gujarat among the central leaders of the BJP. These include big faces like PM Modi and Amit Shah.
