Happy B’Day Sri Lankan Women Cricketer Dilani Manodara, Dilani’s full name is Manodara Acharya Don Dilani Suranika, Manodara. Her born on 8 December 1982 in Kandy Sri Lanka. She is better known as Dilani Manodara. She is a Sri Lankan cricketer. who has also played 139 international matches?

Manodara holds the record for most dismissals as a wicketkeeper for Sri Lanka in women’s ODIs with 67. Dilani Manodara was a member of the bronze medal-winning team of the 2014 Asian Games.

In October 2018, Dilani was named in Sri Lanka’s squad for the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 tournament in the West Indies. In January 2020, she was named in Sri Lanka’s squad for the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia.

She started playing cricket from her school days and played for Kurunegala Youth Cricket Club Women. And additionally Slimline Sport Club Women during her college days. Dilani is 37 years old and still plays for the national team.

As Wicketkeeper in National Team :-

Manodara made her ODI debut against Pakistan in the Women’s Asia Cup on 14 December 2006. However, she did not get the opportunity to bat as Sri Lanka chased down the target with ease with seven wickets remaining.

She continued to work as a first-line wicketkeeper in the national team and kept wickets for the team in ODIs.

Three years later, Dilani made her T20I debut on 12 June 2009. At the time of the ICC Women’s World Twenty20. And playing against Pakistan, which Sri Lanka won comfortably. Now her name is included in the Sri Lankan women’s squad for the 2020 World Cup in Australia.
