Zaheer Khan is an Indian former cricketer who played all forms of the game for the Indian national team from 2000 till 2014. He was the second-most successful Indian pace bowler in Test cricket, behind Kapil Dev. Zaheer Khan started his domestic career by playing for Baroda.

Indian King of Reverse Swing-

Zaheer is widely regarded as the ‘Indian King of Reverse Swing’ and he was an integral part of many iconic victories for India including the historic World Cup 2011 triumph. The left-arm pacer was the highest wicket-taker for the Indian team in the 2003 and 2011 World Cup.

The Arjuna awardee has picked

The Arjuna awardee has picked up 282 ODI wickets in his career and has an outstanding average of 29.44, while in the longest format and he is just behind legendary Kapil Dev in the list of most wickets in Test cricket for India with 311 under his belt. 

Zaheer made his ODI debut in 2000 against Kenya and since then Zaheer has become an integral part of every former Indian captain’s plan, be it Sourav Ganguly or MS Dhoni.

Zaheer Khan’s wife, Sagarika Ghatge-

The 42-year old tied knots with Sagarika. Zaheer Khan’s wife, Sagarika Ghatge is not only an actress but also a successful model. Sagarika has also participated in reality television shows.

Sagarika earned accolades only after her first film named Chak De India in 2007, starring Sharukh Khan as the coach of India’s women’s hockey team. The 34-year old remains an integral part of the side as their coach develops an outfit from scratch that goes on to lift the World Cup by beating six-time champions Australia in their backyard.
