Harbhajan – One of the biggest shortcomings in this team is the absence of Yuzvendra Chahal
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Harbhajan Singh said, “I think one of the biggest shortcomings in this team is the absence of Yuzvendra Chahal. A leg-spinner can easily turn the ball to the other side. If you talk about a good spinner, I don’t think India has a better spinner than Chahal in the white ball format. Yes, his last few matches haven’t been great, but that doesn’t make him a bad bowler.”
I think he should have been on the team
He further said, “I think it was necessary for him to be in the team. I hope the doors of the World Cup are not closed for them as the tournament is to be hosted by India. Chahal has proved what a great bowler he is. I can understand that his form is not good, so you must have given him rest. However, he should have been in the team. When any player comes back after being dropped, there is pressure on him.
