Though Hardik Pandya is currently one of the leading all-rounders in the world, former Pakistan cricketer Rashid Latif feels he cannot be compared with England’s Test captain Ben Stokes right now. Hardik scored an unbeaten 71 in just 30 balls against Australia in Mohali on Tuesday, but India lost the match. Latif was asked if Hardik is now on the same level as Stokes, he did not agree and said that Stokes has a better record and a bigger trophy cabinet.

While talking on his YouTube channel Rashid Latif said this thing :-

“No doubt he’s a very good player, but..and I’m using the word “but” because that kind of innings happens frequently in bilateral series. The Asia Cup just concluded and you have to bat And those performances with both the ball will also count. I am not talking about today’s match but just answering your question (on Hardik-Stokes comparison).”

Rashid Latif continued:-

“Ben Stokes is a proven player to win a World Cup, win a Test match. So, on the field, I don’t think you can even compare him, because a trophy is a trophy. Ben Stokes is ahead of Hardik Pandya.Yes, you can say that some of Hardik’s innings have been better than Ben Stokes, but better innings and being better than Stokes are two completely different things.
