Southampton: Team India beat England by a huge margin of 50 runs in the first T20 International in the absence of key players. With this, the Indian team took a 1-0 lead in the series of three T20 Internationals. India elected to bat first after winning the toss in Southampton and scored 198/8 in 20 overs. In reply, the English team bundled out for 148 runs in 19.3 overs. India’s all-rounder Hardik Pandya adjudged the player of the match, scoring 51 runs and taking 4 wickets.
