Harmanpreet’s all-around performance earned him the player of the match award for the third time in seven matches. Harmanpreet Kaur smashed 65 off 32 balls as Renegades posted the second-highest score in WBBL history to beat Brisbane Heat.

Melbourne Renegades 4 for 207 (Harmanpreet 65, Jones 62, Rodrigues 52) beat Brisbane Heat (Kimmins 42, Faulkner 4-29) by 15 runs.

Half-centuries from Harmanpreet Kaur, Eve Jones, and Jemima Rodrigues helped Melbourne Renegades set a franchise record score to beat Brisbane Heat in the WBBL at the Karen Rolton Oval in Adelaide.

Jones and Rodrigues opened centuries before Harmanpreet smashed 65 off just 32 balls, including six sixes, helping the Renegades post the second-highest total in WBBL history and the highest score by the Renegades. The Heat had a red-hot crack in the chase, but Ellie Faulkner fell 16 runs short, claiming 4 for 29. The match total of 399 runs was the highest total in WBBL history.

The stage was set for the end of Harmanpreet’s innings. India’s T20I captain hit six sixes and four fours to take the Renegades total past 200.

Falconer took the key wicket of Georgia Redmayne early in the chase. Georgia Voll made 40 from 28 balls and Laura Kimmince smashed 42 from 21 but was run out. Failing to ground her bat when Josie Dooley produced a direct hit from a relay throw. Falconer and Harmanpreet closed the game out, taking key wickets at the death. Harmanpreet’s all-around display earned her Player-of-the-Match honors for the third time in seven matches.
