Harmanpreet has high hopes from the tournament

Harmanpreet Kaur believes that the women’s IPL will be a great platform for the Indian domestic players to showcase their talent at the international level as the domestic infrastructure of women’s cricket in the country is not that good. “Definitely I think this is a great platform where domestic players can show their strength and gain experience,” he told Sports18. Personally I think the only thing we lack. Our domestic level is not that good and players are suddenly coming into the Indian team. So you feel a lot of pressure.

Players will have this big advantage

The Indian captain also believes that due to the women’s IPL. The domestic players will get an opportunity to play shoulder to shoulder with the good names of international cricket. Which will be a huge advantage. Harmanpreet said, “I think if we go into the women’s IPL. Then our domestic players will get a chance to play with foreign players. And this experience will definitely help.” In such a situation. When young players come in the team, they will not feel the pressure which they feel in international matches.

Also, Harmanpreet shared her positive experience of playing in foreign leagues. “It really helps you when you get an opportunity to play in other leagues. Personally these things really helped me. This is important in boosting your confidence. When you get a chance to play with foreign players, you share your experience with them. You learn a lot from them. Let us tell you that Harmanpreet has played in Australia’s Big Bash League (BBL) and England’s The Hundred tournament.
