Hasan Ali has been Included in Pakistan’s Asia Cup Squad To Replace Of Mohammad Wasim, Wasim will miss the upcoming Asia Cup 2022 after taking a side strain. He is being released from the team.
There were notable omissions when the team was announced:-
who is currently in the UAE, and will be out for at least three weeks. Hasan Ali, who was one of the notable omissions at the time of the squad’s announcement, has been brought in as Wasim’s replacement.

Wasim complained of back pain while bowling in a net session at the ICC Academy in Dubai on Thursday and was taking for an MRI scan soon thereafter.
In the PCB update on Friday, it has been revealed that he was suffering a side strain. They will also be reviewing by an expert.
The team’s chief physiotherapist Cliff Deacon is working with Shaheen Shah Afridi, who has been ruled out of the Asia Cup due to a knee injury but is traveling with the team.
The Dropped from Pakistan’s squad for Asia Cup:-
Hasan was dropping from Pakistan’s squad for the ODI series in the Netherlands as well as the Asia Cup due to poor form with the ball. Hasan’s form has been the best in all formats last year.
He has taken eight wickets in eight T20 Internationals in this period. In the three ODIs he has played in the last 12 months – at home between March and June this year – he has taken two wickets with the ball at an average of 76.50.
Earlier this year, in the PSL, he had a bowling average of 40.55 and an economy rate of 10.84 as he took nine wickets in nine matches for Islamabad United.

The PCB confirmed that the team management had sought Hasan as a replacement and chief selector Mohammad Wasim had accepted the request.
When the 16-man squad was announcing earlier this month. Naseem Shah was calling in place of Hasan. Now, out to Afridi and Wasim.
Pakistan’s fast bowling unit consists of Haris Rauf, Shahnawaz Dahani, Shah, and Hasan. Their campaign in the Asia Cup will begin on August 28 against India.

To regain his form, Hasan was preparing for the National T20 starting on August 30. Make them your regular team.
