New Delhi. Who is behind the successful career of Virat Kohli, the former captain of the Indian cricket team? Kohli has remained a strong pillar of Team India for the last 15 years. He is currently playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore team in IPL. An Insta post of 34-year-old Virat is becoming fiercely viral on social media, in which he has given the credit of his success to childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma. Virat recently met Rajkumar Sharma at his home ground in Delhi. Then the videos and photos of him touching the feet of his Guru went viral.

Virat Kohli has expressed his gratitude by sharing a photo of himself with Rajkumar Sharma on his official Instagram page on Thursday. Sharing a long post, Virat wrote, ‘There are some people for whom sports always comes second. So I think it is important to celebrate with people who reposed faith in you from day one. I am eternally grateful to Rajkumar sir. He is not only my coach but also a mentor. Who have always supported me in my journey. I was just a boy who dared to dream but it was your belief that helped me wear the Indian jersey 15 years ago.

Kohli Thanked the Coach Like this

Virat Kohli is currently performing brilliantly for RCB in the 15th edition of IPL. He has scored 420 runs in 11 matches in this IPL so far, which includes 6 half-centuries. He is at number 5 in the Orange Cap race. The former RCB captain further wrote, ‘For every advice, for every batting lesson, slap on my head and pat on the back, I want to thank you for fulfilling my dream as your own.’

Kohli Made his International Debut in 2008

Virat started his One Day International cricket career in the year 2008. He made his T20 debut in 2010 and Test debut in 2011. Virat has 75 centuries in international cricket. Right-handed batsman Kohli could never make Team India the world champion under his captaincy, which he will always regret.
