ODI World Cup 2023: The schedule of the ICC Cricket World Cup is going to be released soon. ICC CEO Geoff Allardice has given the latest information about this. ODI World Cup is to be played in India (CWC Venue) this year. Less than 4 months are left for its launch but its schedule has not come. You can guess its delay from the fact that the schedule of the 2019 World Cup was released 13 months and the schedule of the 2015 World Cup was released 18 months in advance. The CEO has also told that BCCI can give the schedule to ICC today. A total of 10 teams (ICC CWC Team List) will participate in the ODI World Cup, out of which 8 teams have been announced.

ODI World Cup may start on October 5
The schedule of the World Cup to be held in India has not yet been released, one of the reasons behind this could be the choice of the stadium. Media reports said that the ODI World Cup may start on October 5, while its final is possible on November 19. Although the ICC has not announced these dates yet.

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah had said that the ODI World Cup schedule will be released during the WTC final. But ESPN said in its report that the schedule of the World Cup will not be released till at least next week.

On the BBC Test Match Special program, the ICC CEO said, “According to me today the BCCI will give us the World Cup schedule. We will consider that schedule, and discuss it with the broadcasters, of the teams participating in the World Cup. Then after that, we will release the schedule of the World Cup as soon as possible.
