ICC shortlists these players for Women’s T20 WC ‘Player of the Tournament’

ICC shortlisted players for ‘Player of the Tournament’ :-

ICC has shortlisted a total of 9 players for the ‘Player of the Tournament’ for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2023. Surprisingly, the name of only one Indian player is included in these players. Let us know in detail about those 9 players through this article.

ICC Women’s T20 WC Player Of The Tournament: These 9 players have been shortlisted :-

The first number is the name of South African opener Tazmin Brits, who has scored a total of 176 runs in this tournament so far and has taken a total of 44 spectacular catches.

At number two is the name of Australian all-rounder Ashley Gardner, who contributed significantly with both bat and ball and took his team to the final. Gardner scored a total of 81 runs and took 9 wickets in the tournament so far.

South African opener Laura Wolvaardt is at number three :-

At number three is the name of South African opener Laura Wolvaardt, who has also been shortlisted for the Player of the Tournament. Australian team captain Mag Lanning’s name at number four, who has scored a total of 99 runs in the tournament, Alyssa Healy’s name at number five, who has scored a total of 171 runs in the tournament so far.

At number six is the name of Indian team’s wicket-keeper batsman Richa Ghosh. She scored a total of 136 runs in the tournament. Apart from Richa, no other Indian player got shortlisted.

Nat Sciver’s name at number seven. She has scored a total of 216 runs so far, includes Sophie Ecclestone at number eight and Hayley Mathews at number 9.
