ICC T20 Rankings: India batter Suryakumar Yadav has moved to the second spot

ICC T20 Rankings: IND vs SA & PAK vs ENG – India batter Suryakumar Yadav has moved to the second spot in the ICC T20 rankings for batters.

After scoring a mighty 69 against Australia in the third T20I, Yadav has now breached the 800-mark in the rankings. Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan has increased his position at the top. Rizwan scored two fifties against England and now he has 861 points. Yadav and Rizwan will face each other in the ICC rankings during the South Africa and England T20 series respectively.

ICC T2O Rankings: Suryakumar Yadav eyes number one

After reaching the number two spot in the ICC T20I rankings for batsmen, Suryakumar is now eyeing the number one spot in the ICC rankings.

He is currently 60 points behind Rizwan, but Yadav has three T20Is to play against South Africa.

A good T20I series against the Temba Bavuma-led side will propel India’s Mr 360 to the number one ranking.

The right-handed batsman scored 69 against Australia in the third T20I and gained momentum.

Rizwan, on the other hand, has three more matches to go against England. He is currently the highest run-scorer with 252 runs in four matches.

If Rizwan continues his purple patch, the wicket-keeper batsman will continue to top the ICC rankings.
