Many T20 leagues are happening in the cricket world. Almost every country has its own T20 league. Now the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is also coming up with its own league. The name of this league is International League T20 (ILT20). This league is about to start but this league and the players playing in it have got a setback. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has given him this blow. The ICC has refused to give List-A T20 tournament status to this league.
ILT20 League Starts on 13th January
The ICC has also said that it will not be lax in its rules regarding this league. The ILT20 league is starting from 13 January. A total of six teams will participate in this league, out of which three teams are the teams of IPL franchises. These include the names of Abu Dhani Knight Riders, Dubai Capitals, MI Emirates.
Record will not be Recognized
The ICC has also said that whatever records will be made in this league. It will not give them a place in its T20 records. ‘The Cricketer’ has given this information in its report. The report quoted an ICC spokesperson as saying, “The UAE ILT20 has been sanctioned by the ICC. But has not been granted List-A T20 status as the league does not comply with those regulations.”

It has been written in the report that the T20 tournaments organized by the temporary members of the ICC will not get the status of List-A T20. It has been written in the report that the ICC has confirmed that no concession will be given for this league. Therefore, if a player makes a big record in this league, then he will not be included in the T20 record. Such records will be entered in the ‘Miscellaneous’ or ‘Other T20’ column, which is done with club matches played in the UK.
