ICC Women’s World Cup 2022: England team will defend the title in front of Australia

New Delhi, Online Desk. The final of the ICC Women’s Cricket World will be played between Australia and England at the Hagley Oval ground in Christchurch. While on one hand the defending champions England will have the responsibility of saving the title, on the other hand Australia’s team would like to win their 7th title. Out of the last 11 World Cup titles, only these two teams have won 10. However, both the teams will face each other after 34 years in the final.

England defeated South Africa to reach the final

In the semi-final match, Australia defeated West Indies and England defeated South Africa to reach the final. The good news for Australia is that all-rounder Alyssa Perry was seen in the practice session and she may enter the final. The England team, led by Heather Knight, has a chance of winning back-to-back World Cup titles. Australia undefeated in the league stage, on the other hand England had barely made it to the semi-finals.

The toss will play an important role in the match. As the team would prefer to chase here considering the possibility of dew. The weather is very clear and if there is any disturbance in the match due to rain. Then a day kept in reserve for it.
