Batting first after winning the toss, New Zealand had set a target of 229 runs in front of Africa, which they achieved by losing 8 wickets in the last over.

New Zealand captain Sophie Devine missed a century

New Zealand captain Sophie Devine missed out on scoring a century. She got out on the score of 93 runs. He was bowled by African bowler Ayabonga Khaka. Apart from him, Emily Carr contributed 42 runs, Maddy Greene 30 and Brooke Hallyday contributed 24 runs for New Zealand. Shabnim Ismail and Ayabonga took 3-3 wickets for South Africa in the bowling.

South Africa recovers from initial setbacks
