How does it feel to be a part of the UP team in the Indian Women’s IPL for the first time?
— When I was bought by the UP franchise, I felt very happy that I became a part of WPL. I was practicing during the auction, but I got the message and my parents are very happy about it.
How big a turning point do you consider your selection in WPL?

This is a big achievement for me and I am looking at it as a big step forward in my career. I believe if I do well in this tournament then maybe I will get a chance to play for India.
Have you Wanted to be a Part of your home Franchise Delhi Capitals?
— My aim is to play for the Indian team and to be a part of it, I have to play very well. If I have got a chance to play for UP, I will try my best to capitalize on this opportunity.
When all of you met Sachin Tendulkar after winning the ICC Women’s Under-19 World Cup, what was your conversation with him?
— Meeting a big player like Sachin Tendulkar was a big deal. He congratulated the players of the entire team and wished them all the best for the future. We all were very inspired after meeting him.

Who are your favorite male and female cricketers in Indian cricket and why?
Virat Kohli is my favorite among Indian male players. I really like Kohli’s style of play and he has got a lot of range of shots. And among female Indian cricketers, I like Smriti Mandhana. I like his game a lot and he is technically very strong. I follow Kohli and Mandhana for a long time.
Who do you consider to be the trophy contender in the Women’s T20 World Cup being played in South Africa?
— I see India as the biggest contender. However, Australia’s team is also very good, so the claim of that team also cannot be denied.

What is your biggest dream as a cricketer?
— My only dream is to play for my country and on the basis of my performance, I can make the team win maximum. The biggest thing is that our honor is attached to the team’s victory and that’s all.
You are an opener, but would you be Comfortable if given a Chance to bat at any other Position?
— Of course I want to play for the team and I will be available wherever it is required. Even during the World Cup, I batted at positions other than opening.
