In the ICC Women’s ODI Rankings, Richa Ghosh and Deepti Sharma made big advances in the batsmen’s chart. Meanwhile, among the batsmen, Mithali Raj remains at number two with 741 points, while Alyssa Healy of Australia is at the top with 749 points.

Despite India’s disappointing performance so far in the five-match Women’s ODI series in New Zealand, the latest ICC ODI rankings had some positives for the tourists. Because Deepti Sharma has moved up two places to 18th position in the batsmen rankings. And has climbed six places to 13th in the bowling rankings.

Deepti’s unbeaten 69 in the third ODI :-

Deepti’s unbeaten 69 in the third ODI helped her gain two places in the batsmen’s rankings. Whereas his four wickets in the second ODI helped him climb up the bowlers’ rankings.

India have lost all four ODIs led by Mithali Raj, whose last match was to be played on 24 February.

Batsman Richa Ghosh jumped 15 places to be at number 54 thanks to her 65-run knock. This helped India post a strong score in the second ODI. In Smriti Mandhana’s absence, Sabbhineni Meghna grabbed the opportunity with both hands with her innings of 49 and 61 to move up 113 places to 67th in the batsmen’s list.

Meanwhile, Mithali remains at number two among the batsmen with 741 points. While Alyssa Healy of Australia is on top with 749 points. India’s fast bowler Jhulan Goswami is fourth among bowlers with 723 points. Deepti Sharma has also retained her fourth position in the all-rounders’ list.

New Zealand all-rounder Amelia Kerr has broken into the top 10 of the ODI all-rounders’ list in the latest ICC Player Rankings. Amelia scored centuries and half-centuries in the second and third ODIs, helping her climb the charts of batsmen and all-rounders in the weekly ICC rankings update.

In the second ODI, Kerr went inside the powerplay while the White Ferns were chasing 271 to get the team out of trouble at 55/3. Kerr shared a 128-run partnership with Maddie Green for the fourth wicket. He batted till the end, scoring 119 not out off 135 balls as New Zealand chased down the target with one over to spare.

In the latest rankings, Kerr achieved career-high ratings for batsmen (512) and all-rounders (269). She has jumped 21 places in the rankings for batsmen to be at number 22 and in the rankings of all-rounders she has jumped seven places to be at number six.

Fellow Kiwi Lauren Down also climbed the ladder in the third ODI with a match-winning 64* off 52 balls. She moved up 14 places to reach the top 50 to be ranked 49th for batsmen.
