In which city will the India-Pakistan match take place? confusion increased
IND vs PAK, World Cup 2023: A lot of confusion has increased regarding the situation of India-Pakistan in the Asia Cup and ODI World Cup to be held this year. Different types of reports are coming regarding both the cases.
Several reports came to the fore regarding the Asia Cup: –
A report came out about the Asia Cup, in which it has been said that the entire tournament will be held in Pakistan. While the Indian team will play its matches at a neutral venue.
Whereas in some reports it is being said that the entire Asia Cup tournament will be held at a neutral venue outside Pakistan. Some such reports are also coming about the ODI World Cup to be held in India. Recently a report came out, in which it was said that the Pakistan team will not come to India for the World Cup.
All the World Cup matches will be held in India only!
While the Pakistan team will play all its matches of the World Cup in neutral venue i.e. Bangladesh. It was said in this report that all this is being done because the Indian team has refused to go to Pakistan for the Asia Cup.
But after some time a different report came out, in which the International Cricket Council (ICC) has been quoted as saying that the World Cup will be held in India only. The Pakistan team will also play its matches here. This report is from Cricbuzz, in which the venue of the India-Pakistan match has been told.

Will Pakistan play its matches in Bangladesh?
A source in the ICC board told PTI that the Pakistan team will play its matches in Bangladesh. No such discussion has taken place officially.
As far as visa is concerned, BCCI has already made it clear that players from any country including Pakistan will not be given visa. There will be no problem with it. There is no Bangladesh venue for Pakistan in ICC‘s plan.

According to the report of Cricbuzz, BCCI has shortlisted 12 venues for the 48 matches to be held under the World Cup. 4 matches can be organized at each venue.
The final match can be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. While the match between India and Pakistan has been decided to be held in Delhi or Chennai. Although nothing is clear yet. The official announcement of the schedule is yet to be made.
According to the report, the 12 venues shortlisted for the World Cup are Ahmedabad, Delhi, Chennai; Mumbai, Rajkot, Guwahati, Indore, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Dharamsala, Hyderabad and Lucknow. The final can be held in Ahmedabad and a semi-final in Mumbai. Where will be the second semi-final, it has not been revealed yet.
