IND Tour of SA: BCCI has released the schedule, matches will start on December 10

IND Tour of SA: After the World Cup, India will tour South Africa in December. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released its schedule on Friday. India will play three T20, three ODI, and two Test match series with South Africa. The Test match series will be the Freedom Series, which will be played for the Gandhi-Mandela Trophy. All the matches will be played in six venues.

IND Tour of SA: The tour will start with T20 on December 10 in Durban

The tour will start with T20 on 10 December in Durban. After this, the second T20 will be played in Gkebra on 12 December and the third T20 match will be played in Johannesburg on 14 December. The ODI series will start in Johannesburg on 17th December and after that, the Test series will start in Centurion from 26th December.

Freedom series will be organized in honor of two great leaders

After the release of the schedule, BCCI secretary Jay Shah said that the Freedom Series is important not because it features two great teams, but because it is being organized in honor of Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela. Two great leaders who inspired our respective countries and the world. The Boxing Day Test and the New Year Test are among the most important events in the international cricket calendar.
