Virat Kohli created history: Virat Kohli has returned to T20I cricket after 14 months. He took the field on 14 January in the second T20I against Afghanistan, which was held at Holkar Stadium, Indore. In the comeback T20I match, Kohli scored 29 runs in five matches in 16 balls and created a unique history.

Kohli has become the first cricketer to score more than 2000 runs while chasing in all three formats of cricket (Test, ODI, T20). Chase master Kohli had crossed this figure long ago in Test and ODI but he bridged the gap in T20I in Indore. He is the only Indian to score two hundreds while chasing in T20Is. He is second in the overall list. Ahead of him is Ireland’s Paul Stirling, who has added 2074 runs.
