IND vs AUS: The third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia has been shifted to Indore. Earlier this match was to be played in Dharamshala. The third Test between India and Australia will be played from March 1-5 at the Holkar Stadium in Indore.
IND vs AUS: BCCI secretary Jay Shah said in his statement –
“The third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy was to be held at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala from March 1-5, which has now been shifted to the Holkar Stadium in Indore. Severe cold in the region And the decision was taken because of the lack of grass on the outfield. It will take some time to develop the ground.”
A report by BCCI curator Tapash Chatterjee on Sunday confirmed that the outfield at the Dharamshala ground is unfit for international matches. Due to the weather, the local ground staff did not get enough time to grow a good layer of grass on the outfield of the ground.

However, the first Test of the series between India and Australia was played at the VCA Stadium in Nagpur. The Rohit Sharma-led Indian team thrashed Australia by an innings and a massive 132 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the series.

Now from February 17, the second Test of the series will be played at the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in Delhi. Then the third Test will be held in Indore from March 1 and the fourth and final Test of the series will be played from March 9-13 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
