IND vs AUS: Coach of Australia is Unhappy With the Performance of the team

The Kangaroo team has faced defeat in the first two matches of the four-match Test series between India and Australia. With this, India has taken an unassailable lead in the series. Now the Australian team does not have a chance to win the series. However, Australia can end the series on par by winning the remaining two matches. At the same time, to confirm their place in the final of the World Test Championship, the Kangaroo team will have to win a match at any cost.

Batsmen’s Poor Performance is Being Blamed for Australia’s Defeat

The poor performance of the batsmen is being blamed for Australia’s defeat. In the first match, none of the Australian batsmen could score a half-century. However, in the first innings of the second match, two players definitely scored half-centuries and the team got an edge, but in the second innings eight batsmen could not touch the double figures and the Australian team lost the match here.

Talking about the team’s defeat, Australia’s head coach Andrew McDonald said that his team is failing India’s test. At the end of the second day’s play of the second Test, Australia’s team was in a better position in the second innings by scoring 61 runs for one wicket, but after that the team was reduced to just 113 runs. India then chased down the target of 115 for four and took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

At the Rnd of the Second Day if You Would say that our Preparation was Good

Macdonald said on the team’s defeat, “There will be criticism of our methods and it should be so. At the end of the second day, if you had said that we were well prepared (when Australia were 61 for one), you might have had a different view. But within an hour (on the third day) people started criticizing what happened. Died and on the third day we failed the test of India.

McDonald, who took over from Justin Langer after Australia’s 4-0 win in the Ashes, said, “I think the team prepared very well in Bengaluru, so there is no excuse for that.” There were some who clearly moved away from the strategy that made them successful over time. We have to be better than this, that is the most important thing, we have to own it.

The third match of this series will be played in Indore from March 1. In this match, the Australian team can go down with many changes. Fast bowler Mitchell Starc and all-rounder Cameron Green will be fit for this match and both are expected to play in this match.
