Even before the start of the Border Gavaskar Trophy series, the Australian team was scared of the Indian spinners. They did a lot of preparation to deal with the Indian spinners. During this, the Australian team management called India’s first class cricketer Mahesh Pithiya to the camp to break R Ashwin’s spin.

Kaif trolled Australia as saying –

Mahesh Pithiya‘s action is similar to Ashwin and Australian batsmen practiced hard on his ball. But, it was of no use and Ashwin sent 5 players to the pavilion in the second innings and destroyed the Australian team.

Now former Team India cricketer Mohammad Kaif has trolled the Australian team for this. He said that the visiting team must have understood now that there is a difference between fake and real. Kaif trolled that he was hoping that the Australian team would not be looking for a duplicate version of Ravindra Jadeja to prepare for the Delhi Test.

India defeated Australia by 132 runs –

Team India started the Border Gavaskar Trophy on a grand note defeating Australia by an innings and 132 runs in the Nagpur Test. In this Test match, the Indian bowlers reduced the Australian team to just 91 runs in the second innings. With this, Team India has taken a 1-0 lead in the four-match Test series. The second Test of the series will be played from February 17 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
