IND vs AUS: ‘India may have to pay for this’, Gavaskar lashed out at Jadeja for no ball

IND vs AUS: The third match of the four-match Test series is being played between India and Australia in Indore. Batting first after winning the toss, India scored 109 runs in their first innings. In response, Australia scored 156 runs losing four wickets in their first innings on the first day and took a lead of 47 runs.

IND vs AUS: Labushen was clean bowled by Jadeja on the second no ball –

Jadeja bowled many no balls on the first day. Once he bowled Labuschagne on a no ball. Jadeja is a key all-rounder for Team India and has made a remarkable comeback from injury and earned the captain’s trust. Jadeja had to stay away from cricket for five months after a knee surgery last year and got a chance to return to cricket in January this year.

While Jadeja’s all-round performance impressed one and all, the player is facing a big and new problem in the series. The left-handed orthodox has been bowling several front foot no-balls since his return to international cricket.

IND vs AUS: On Wednesday, Jadeja once again bowled a no ball. India did not suffer much on his first no ball, but Marnus Labuschagne was clean bowled on the second no ball. However, replays showed that Jadeja had overstepped.

Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar has criticized Jadeja for bowling too many no-balls –

He said – “It’s unacceptable. He has a few man of the match awards but for a spinner to bowl a no-ball like that, it could cost India. Paras Mhambrey (bowling coach) to sit down with him Will happen.”

Gavaskar had also said while commentating in the third India-Australia Test – “Jadeja should bowl from the back (line). Marnus has taken the mark now, he could have been out for a duck.”
