Ravindra Jadeja: All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja returned to the field after a long gap of about 8 months and his return was such that everyone was stunned. Jadeja was adjudged man of the match in the first ODI against Australia. With this, he joined Virat Kohli’s special club. Jadeja has become the second player along with Kohli to be named man of the match in all three formats against Australia. Only these 2 players have been able to do this against Australia. Jadeja also got the man of the match award in 2 test matches.

Brilliant Performance of Ravindra Jadeja in the First ODI

Ravindra Jadeja performed brilliantly in the first ODI against Australia played in Mumbai. Jadeja showed excellent performance in all three, ball, bat and fielding. Jadeja took 2 wickets while bowling first, not only that he also took excellent catches while fielding. He played an unbeaten inning of 45 runs in the second innings as well. Because of which the team won by 5 wickets.

Hardik Pandya, captaining Team India in the first ODI, won the toss and invited Australia to bat. Indian bowlers had a great performance, Shami-Siraj took maximum 3-3 wickets in their name, due to which the Australian team got piled on 188 runs. In response to this, the start of the Indian team was not good. The team’s 4 wickets fell quickly but KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja took the match to the end and won the team by 5 wickets.
