Jadeja was adjudged man of the match in the first ODI against Australia. With this, he joined Virat Kohli’s special club. Jadeja has become the second player along with Kohli to be named man of the match in all three formats against Australia. Only these 2 players have been able to do this against Australia. Jadeja also got the man of the match award in 2 test matches.

Ravindra Jadeja performed brilliantly in the first ODI against Australia played in Mumbai. Jadeja showed excellent performance in all three, ball, bat and fielding. Indian bowlers had a great performance, Shami-Siraj took maximum 3-3 wickets in their name, due to which the Australian team got piled on 188 runs. In response to this, the start of the Indian team was not good. The team’s 4 wickets fell quickly but KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja took the match to the end and won the team by 5 wickets.
