Rohit Sharma’s Embarrassing Record in Test: In the third Test match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy played in Indore, Australia opened the account of victory in the series by defeating India by 9 wickets. Like the first two Test matches, this match also ended within 3 days. The only difference was the result. With the defeat in the Indore Test, Indian captain Rohit Sharma made a very unique and embarrassing record to his name, which he would never have expected.

This Bad Record Happened in the Name of Rohit Sharma

As soon as India lost the third test match under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, immediately the name of the captain got a very bad record. Rohit Sharma has registered his name by breaking the 71-year-old record of Test cricket. Rohit Sharma has now become the first Test captain of India who has lost a Test match in the fewest balls while playing at his own home. Earlier this feat was done in Kanpur under the captaincy of Vijay Hazare.

‘THE END’ of the Match in Just this Many Balls

The third Test match played between India and Australia in Indore ended in just two and a half days. If seen from the point of view of Test match, then this match gave result in less than half the time. In this match, 1135 balls were bowled in which the victory and defeat was decided. Earlier this happened in the year 1951-52 when the Indian team had to face defeat against England under the captaincy of Vijay Hazare. India lost by 8 wickets in this match played in Kanpur and 1459 balls were bowled in this match.
