IND vs BAN, Test: Zakir Hasan made his debut in the first Test match between Bangladesh and India in Chittagong. Zakir, who made his debut for Bangladesh, scored a century.
Zakir Hasan become Bangladesh’s fourth player to score a century in Test debut :-
Bangladesh’s Zakir Hasan became the fourth batsman to score a century on his Test debut. Before this, Aminul Islam had scored 145 against India in 2000. Mohammad Ashraful scored 114 against Sri Lanka in Colombo in 2001. In 2012, Abul Hasan scored an inning of 113 runs while making his debut against the West Indies.

IND vs BAN, Test: India declared for the second innings :-
India won the toss and decided to bat first. Team India scored 404 runs in the first innings. In response, Bangladesh were all out for 150 runs in the first innings. Zakir scored 20 runs in the first innings.
India declared the innings by scoring 258 runs for two wickets in the second innings thanks to the centuries of Shubman and Pujara. India took a total lead of 512 runs.
Bangladesh’s solid start in the second innings :-
IND vs BAN, Test: Chasing a target of 513, Bangladesh’s second innings got off to a solid start with openers Shanto and Hasan. Both played carefully and completed their respective half-centuries.
Shanto was dismissed by Umesh Yadav after scoring a half century. After this Hasan completed his century. Zakir Hasan became the victim of Ashwin after scoring 100 off 224 balls.
