“Test cricket is tough, but I thought that when I am in the team, I have to give my 100 percent,” Yashasvi Jaiswal said after the Indian team took a 2-1 lead in the five-match series. Yashasvi Jaiswal said this after his double century :-

He said, “It was very difficult for me because initially I was not able to score runs. Therefore, we had to play session by session and adjust to the conditions. That’s when I felt I could score runs.”

He said, “Meanwhile my back started hurting. I did not want to leave the ground but the pain had increased so much that I went out. Today when I came, I wanted to make sure that I take the game forward and bat till the end.” The fourth Test match of the series will be played in Ranchi from February 23.
