Ben Stokes revealed his ‘main target’: The fifth and last match of the Test series between India and England will be played on the Dharamshala ground from Thursday, March 7. India has taken an unassailable 3-1 lead in the series and so far England has won only the first Test. England captain Ben Stokes is not too worried despite losing the series to India and is looking at it from a positive perspective. He says that even though England lost the series, there has been a lot of progress as a team. He also told that what will be the main target of England in Dharamshala?
What is Ben Stokes’ main target :-
Ben Stokes wishes that England should win the last Test so that the margin of defeat in the series can be reduced. He said in the pre-match press conference, “At present the series is at 3-1. You think that this is not success but failure. But I look at it from a different angle. I think we have progressed as a team, even if the results were not what we wanted. It would be better to hear 3-2 than 3-1 or 4-1. We will try to get 3-2 in Dharamsala.

Haven’t lost any test series at home since 2012 :-
India has not lost any Test series at home since 2012. The Indian team has won 17 consecutive Test series since then. At the same time, Stokes has suffered a series defeat for the first time after becoming the Test captain of England in 2022.
Stokes said that England did not face defeat as easily as other teams visiting India. “All you can do is sweat in the nets because that’s where you get better,” he said. Unlike many teams that come here, we fought hard.”
