Indian wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik appeared unhappy with this headline.

DK shared the screenshot of the photo of that video with the headline from his official Twitter handle. He lashed out at the England Cricket Board in a way and wrote that the headline could have been better after Pant’s scintillating batting and the best game of the day. Let us inform you that Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja handled the innings after losing 5 wickets for 98 on the first day of Edgbaston Test. Both shared a 222-run partnership for the sixth wicket. Jadeja also played an innings of 104 runs.

Dinesh Karthik furious at ECB

Dinesh Karthik questioned the headline written by the ECB regarding Pant. He said that, after a great game of the day, I am sure that the headline could have been better in England cricket. This brilliant innings from Rishabh Pant showed what the quality of Test cricket is. The kind of game played by both the teams was fantastic. In this way you can describe this whole day. Pant and Jadeja handled the staggering innings

In the first two hours of this Test match, that is, in the first session, the dominance of hosts England was seen. During this, India lost their five wickets for 98 runs. Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja then put on a 222-run partnership for the sixth wicket. Pant scored 146 runs in 111 balls which included 20 fours and 4 sixes. Jadeja then took the innings with tail batsman Mohammed Shami (16) and captain Jasprit Bumrah (31 not out). Jadeja scored 104 runs. With this, the Indian innings were all out for 416 runs in the first innings.
