Indian players and coaching staff will take a break of two days :-

Also, let us tell you that the Indian players and coaching staff currently participating in the T20I series against Afghanistan will take a break of two days. After the third and final T20I on January 17, they will head for home before regrouping in Hyderabad on January 20.

After preparing for the series in Abu Dhabi, the England team is scheduled to reach Hyderabad on January 21. Steve Harmison left no stone unturned in launching a criticism against the team management led by Ben Stokes and Brendon McCullum due to the late arrival of the England team. He said that the England team is in danger of losing the series 5-0.

IND vs ENG, Test: Steve Harmison told radio station talkSPORT’s Following On podcast :

“I’m an old man and that’s what they’re going to say, times have changed but preparation hasn’t. You can’t go into India with less preparation,” Steve Harmison told radio station talkSPORT’s Following On podcast.

“I like the new approach with Ben Stokes, Brendon McCullum and Rob Key and everything the ECB has done. But I’m sorry, you’d never go to an Ashes series three days earlier. You’d never go to Australia three days earlier. If you don’t want to go, then why go to Hyderabad three days in advance? We have to play five Test matches in India.”

Let us also tell you that the last time England defeated India in India in 2012, the Alastair Cook-led team had arrived almost two weeks early.
