IND vs NZ: Indian cricket team opener Shubman Gill batted well in the first ODI against New Zealand and scored 50 runs. Gill’s excellent form also showed in the second ODI when he scored an unbeaten 45 off 42 balls with the help of one six and four fours.

From India, the record of scoring the most runs in the first 10 innings of his ODI cricket career as an opener has now been recorded in the name of Shubman Gill. Shubman has opened for India in 10 innings so far and has scored a total of 495 runs during this period.

Earlier, this record was recorded in the name of Sachin Tendulkar, who scored a total of 478 runs in the first 10 innings for India in ODIs as an opener. Rahul Dravid’s name is at number three in this list with 463 runs while Shikhar Dhawan is fourth with 432 runs while Virender Sehwag is at number five with 425 runs.
