“Shahnawaz Dahani will not be available for Sunday’s Asia Cup Super-4 match against India. Due to a suspected side strain,” the PCB said in a statement. He injured while bowling in the match against Hong Kong in Sharjah on Friday.
“As the case with any suspected side strain injury. The medical team will monitor them for the next 48-72 hours, after which they will take a decision including a scan. And further participation in the tournament,” he added.
Pakistan already in trouble with several players getting injured. Earlier, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Wasim Jr ruled out of the tournament due to injuries. Both these players got injured before the start of the tournament.
