IND vs PAK: Here is BCCI’s plan for the next five years:-

The Indian team will play 38 Tests apart from playing ICC or ACC tournaments. In this, 20 Tests will be played in India, 18 abroad. India will also play 42 ODIs in these five years.

Out of this, 21 matches will be played at home and 21 matches will be played outside. India will play a total of 61 T20 matches between 2023-2027. 31 T20s will be played at home and 30 outside.

BCCI cannot take any decision on the series with Pakistan without the permission of the Government of India.

Compared to the last five years, the number of matches of India in the bilateral series decreased :-

India’s number of matches in bilateral series has come down compared to the last five years. Between 2018-2022, India played 163 matches in bilateral series. At the same time, in the coming five years, India will play only 141 matches in the bilateral series.

With 22 matches less, the workload pressure on the players will be slightly less. However, there is at least one ICC tournament every year. Due to this also the matches of bilateral series have been kept short. Apart from this, 75-80 days have been kept for IPL every year. Players will also have to play in this league.
