The last time the Men in Blue and Men in Green locked horns at the same venue was during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021. So Team India led by Virat Kohli lost the match by 10 wickets. Also, India’s horrific 10-wicket loss against Pakistan in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 match was Team India’s first defeat against Team Pakistan in a World Cup match.

Speaking at a press conference on Friday, the Vice-captain said that the tournament’s opening defeat against Pakistan in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 had hurt the team.
