IND vs PAK, Shoaib Akhtar: Former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has expressed his anger over the defeat of Pakistan. In the second match of the Asia Cup 2022 on Sunday, India started their campaign with a win by defeating Pakistan by 5 wickets.

IND vs PAK: Shoaib Akhtar, “Both teams tried their best to lose the match” :-

After this defeat, Shoaib questioned Babar Azam’s batting order with Mohammad Rizwan’s slow batting. The former Pakistani bowling team went to the extent of saying that both India and Pakistan tried their best to lose the match.

Shoaib Akhtar said on his YouTube channel, ‘First of all I would like to congratulate both the teams. Both India and Pakistan teams tried their best to lose this match, India succeeded to a great extent, but in the end Hardik Pandya crossed the team’s line.

Raise questions on Mohammad Rizwan’s slow batting :-

Talking about Pakistan, he said ‘If Mohammad Rizwan gets 45 runs off 45 balls then how will it run (42 balls 43 runs). He played 19 dot balls in the first 6 overs, you will get into trouble by bowling so many dot balls in the powerplay.

Shoaib Akhtar Akhtar also questioned the playing XI of both the teams :-

During this, Akhtar also questioned the playing XI of both the teams. He said that Rohit Sharma and Babar Azam tried their best to make a bad team selection. India dropped Rishabh Pant, while Pakistan fed Iftekar at number four. Apart from this, he advised Babar Azam to play at number three as well.
