IND vs PAK, Test Series: No Test match has been played between India and Pakistan for the last 15 years. However, now that wait may be over. Actually, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has offered to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to conduct a Test series between India and Pakistan.
The ECB has said that if the two countries agree, they can play a Test series against each other at a neutral venue in England. India and Pakistan have not played a Test match against each other since 2007.
ECB Deputy Chairman Martin Darlow spoke to PCB about this :-
According to the report of The Telegraph, ECB deputy chairman Martin Darlow has discussed this with the PCB during the ongoing T20I series between England and Pakistan. England toured Pakistan for the first time after 17 years. After the T20 World Cup, the England team will also play a three-match Test series in Pakistan.
PCB gave this answer :-
Despite the ECB’s offer, Pakistan is not keen on playing at a neutral venue as they have recently started hosting international cricket again after nearly a decade.
The report also said that the BCCI and PCB have good relations with each other, but this would require a major change in the political mood between the governments of the two countries.
