IND vs SA, 2nd Test: Team India performed brilliantly in the opening session of the first day in the second and final Test against South Africa. After winning the toss, South Africa decided to bat first. The batting lineup of the South African team, which came to bat first in Cape Town, was completely destroyed by the Indian fast bowlers. South Africa was reduced to a score of only 55 runs.

With this the Indian team made another record in its name. This is South Africa’s highest score against India in Test history. Mohammed Siraj was the star of the first innings, taking an incredible 6 wickets for just 15 runs while Jasprit Bumrah and Mukesh Kumar took two wickets each.

Virat Kohli folded his hands :-

An interesting incident was seen during this innings of South Africa. Actually, when Keshav Maharaj came to bat, the song ‘Ram Siya Ram’ started playing. Virat Kohli, who was fielding, gave his reaction on this. Virat Kohli looked at the camera and made the bow and arrow symbol with his hands and then folded both hands and did ‘Namaskar’.

Maharaj became the first victim of Mukesh Kumar’s Test cricket career by scoring only 3 runs in 13 balls. After this, Bumrah ended the innings by getting Nandre Berger caught in the slip.

A heart touching moment was seen during the ODI series also :-

Interestingly, Maharaj had also shared a heart-touching moment with KL Rahul during the ODI series, when the same song was played when Maharaj reached the crease. Rahul then told Maharaj that whenever he comes to bat, this song always plays. Maharaj agreed “yes” and Rahul started smiling.

Also, let us tell you that Elgar is leading the team in his last Test before retirement because Temba Bavuma is out due to injury.
