IND vs SA: Rohit Sharma achieved a big achievement against South Africa, broke Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s record

India has played 21 T20s so far this year. Rohit started the year in February by winning eight matches against West Indies and Sri Lanka. He then went on to win two matches against England, three against West Indies, two against Australia and one against South Africa.

Shameful record registered in the name of Rahul

Talking about KL Rahul, in this match he scored 51 runs playing 56 balls. His innings included four sixes and two fours. However, in this match, he also made an undesirable record in his name. Lokesh Rahul scored the slowest half-century of T20 in this match among the batsmen of Test playing countries. He also became the slowest batsman to score more than 50 runs for India. This was only the second time in the history of Team India, when a batsman scored more than 50 runs, but his strike rate was less than 100.

Lokesh Rahul scored runs in this match at a strike rate of 91.07. Earlier, Gautam Gambhir had scored an unbeaten 56 against Australia in 2012. His strike rate in this innings was 93.3. Even before this, Gautam Gambhir had scored the slowest half-century for India in T20. He scored 50 runs for Bangladesh in 2009. His strike rate in this innings was 108.7. In 2014, Rohit Sharma scored a half-century while batting at a strike rate of 112 and Virat Kohli at 114.
