No one bought Suresh Raina in IPL auction, CSK did not even bid, now this message came

New Delhi, Online Desk. Suresh Raina, one of the successful batsmen of the Indian Premier League, whom people call by name like Mr IPL, did not find any buyer in this time’s mega auction. In the two-day auction held on 12 and 13 February 2022 in Bangalore, all 10 teams came to bid for 600 players. Chennai joined many of its old players but did not bid on Raina. The team issued a message for him after he went unsold at the auction.

Suresh Raina had joined the mega auction for the 15th season of IPL with an amount of 2 crores. No team showed interest in buying him on the first day. After this, he again included in the final set on the second day. This time too, no franchise team showed interest in buying him.

Suresh Raina will not play in IPL

This will be only the second time after 2008 that Raina will not play in the IPL. He withdrew his name in the year 2020 due to Corona. Suresh Raina is at number four in the list of highest run scorers in IPL history. Playing 205 matches, this player has scored 5528 runs and has also taken 25 wickets. During this his best score was an unbeaten 100. Scored 5528 runs with 39 half-centuries. Suresh Raina hit 203 sixes and 506 fours in IPL.
