Rahul has not played international cricket since February and T20Is

Rahul was originally naming in the squad for the five-match series subject to achieving match fitness. The opener was laid low by a groin injury. Incidentally, Rahul has not played international cricket since February and T20Is since the New Zealand series late last year.
