Yashasvi-Gill records: Team India’s picture was a super hit in the fourth T20 match played against West Indies. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill had a big hand in making this picture a super hit. Both made a stormy partnership of 165 runs in just 15.3 overs for the first wicket and completely dismissed the Caribbean team from the match. Yashasvi and Gill have also shattered many big records during this partnership.

Chasing the target of 179 runs, the Indian team got off to a great start by Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal. Yashasvi made his intentions clear by hitting a four off the very first ball of the innings. At the same time, Gill also made excellent shots one after the other from the other end.

In the powerplay of six overs, Team India scored 66 runs without losing any wicket, then Gill and Yashasvi made their century partnership in just 10 overs. While Gill was dismissed after scoring 77 runs, Yashasvi returned unbeaten after scoring 84 runs.

Second biggest partnership :-

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill shared a 165-run partnership for the first wicket. This partnership of Gill-Jaiswal is also the joint second highest partnership for India in T20Is. Before Yashasvi and Gill, KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma had added 165 runs for the first wicket against Sri Lanka in 2017. The record for the biggest partnership in T20Is for India is in the name of Deepak Hooda and Sanju Samson, who added 176 against Ireland in 2022.
