IND vs WI: Team India reached Ahmedabad to play ODI series with West Indies

Indian team players have reached Ahmedabad for the upcoming ODI series against West Indies. The three-match ODI series will be at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. Which will start from February 6. The Men in Blue will be looking to make a comeback in this series after a 0-3 clean sweep. In the last ODI series against South Africa.

In the home series, India has to play the first ODI against West Indies on 6 February. Second on 9 and third on 11 February. After this, a 3-match T20 series is to be between the two teams from February 16 to 20. T20 matches will be in Kolkata.

This will be Rohit Sharma’s first series as ODI captain

All Indian players playing in the series entered the bio bubble on Sunday and Monday. Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal on Saturday posted a picture of him leaving for Ahmedabad on Instagram. Opener Shikhar Dhawan was also sitting with him in the flight. This will be Rohit Sharma’s first series as India’s full-time One Day Internationals captain.

A BCCI official told India Today that the players will be in quarantine for three days. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has selected an 18-player squad for the One Day Internationals series. And now the first challenge before the team management is to choose a strong playing XI.
