IND vs ZIM: Deepak Hooda breaks world record, becomes first player to win 16 consecutive matches

India thrashed Zimbabwe by five wickets in the second ODI on Saturday to take a 2-0 lead in the three-match series, led by pacer Shardul Thakur. Bowling first after winning the toss, India bowled out the hosts for 161 runs. In reply, India lost five wickets in pursuit of an easy target. Indian batsmen also contributed well in this victory. India did not get off to a good start. Captain KL Rahul got out after scoring just 1 run. After this Dhawan (33) and Shubman Gill (33) scored runs. Ishan Kishan was also dismissed cheaply. After which Sanju and Deepak Hooda took over the innings and made a half-century partnership for the fifth wicket.

With his second consecutive win against Zimbabwe, Deepak Hooda has also made a world record in his name. Earlier this year, Deepak got a place in Team India for the first time.
