IND vs ZIM ODI Series: Zimbabwe head coach Dave Houghton warned Team India (IND vs ZIM) ahead of the three-match ODI series starting on Thursday, August 18.

In such a situation, Zimbabwe can give a tough competition to India in this ODI series. Because of this, Team India led by KL Rahul will have to be cautious with the host team.

Zimbabwe ready to challenge India:-

IND vs ZIM ODI Series: Zimbabwe is enjoying a revival of sorts in recent times and qualifying for the T20 World Cup and will present a tough challenge to India as he said, “Don’t take us lightly We can beat India.

“Our bowling and fielding are as good as it was before my time. On top of that, we have some batsmen who are really expressing themselves.

“All is going well at the moment, but it will be a big test against India because we are playing with the strongest team in the world. But I would still expect us to do well and compete really well.

Speaking in the form of Sikandar Raza he said:-

Speaking on the form of Star Man Sikandar Raza, he said, “Obviously someone like Raza is amazing in the form he is.

You keep it with you because having one player in that kind of form brings courage to the rest of the team.

Houghton concluded, “You suddenly see Innocent Kaya score a great century, and then Regis Chakabwa gets his maiden ODI century in the next game and that’s one of the best innings I’ve seen from anyone in this country.”

Bangladesh was defeated in ODI and T20 series:-

India will have a big task on hand when they play Bangladesh as they try to keep alive their slightest hopes for the ODI World Cup qualification.

Despite winning the ODI series against Bangladesh, along with the series against India and Australia, they face an uphill task to qualify for the ODI World Cup in India.

With six games of the ODI Super League remaining for the hosts, they are unlikely to qualify directly, while playoff qualification would see them face either Sri Lanka or South Africa, or both.

However, Houghton has completed a bid for the position where he has propelled them to the T20 World Cup qualification.
